The Caledonian Canal Boot Bike Boat Challenge!

We asked Boogie & Dingo who would win in a race between a walker, a cyclist and someone on a boat in a race between Gairlochy and Fort Augustus along the Caledonian Canal. They said there was only one way to find out and so the Boogie & Dingo Boot, Bike, Boat Challenge was born
The boys spent the day competing against the mysterious ‘Helmet Heid’ in a three way race from Gairlochy through the locks and into Loch Lochy and Loch Oich and on up to Fort Augustus, reaching the finishing post at Oich Pier, the gateway to Loch Ness. You will have to watch the video to see who won and to find out just who the mysterious Helmet Heid really is!
The boys thoroughly enjoyed their day out on the canal- “Having a day out in such beautiful surroundings and all such a short drive away is just amazing!” Boogie said afterwards. “It’s incredible how easy it is to simply get away from it all. It’s totally relaxing, or at least would have been if Dingo hadn’t been around!” For his part Dingo was completely blown away- “Breath taking, it’s pretty awesome, all that beautiful scenery right on your doorstep! I can’t wait to come back – this time on the boat.’
